Qualifications for Counsellors:

We are excited to employ counsellors, social workers and psychotherapists who exemplify and honour human services to the professional degree that they have committed themselves. Our staff are highly experienced, educated, valued, appreciated and community-minded.
Our counsellors are required to possess the following credentials:
  • counsellors have educational backgrounds in social work, psychology, counselling, and mental health. 
  • 5 years minimum supervised work experience working with a variety of populations and clients
  • registration with a professional association or college
  • liability insurance

To provide all Niagara Counselling Services clients with professional quality counselling services at a reasonable rate. We strive for excellence to assist in providing client-centred, solution-focused counselling services through innovation, focus, efficiency, and the willingness to take action to assist clients to achieve their individual goals.

We have provided professional counselling services to over 9000 clients in the Niagara Region. We offer a large staff with various specializations allowing us to truly Reach Out To Everyone in need of assistance. Our regular hours of Monday to Friday from 8:30 am up to and including 8:30 pm allow us to accommodate all work schedules. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your interest in Niagara Counselling Services. We are one of the largest and most experienced counselling agencies in the Niagara Region opening in March 1995 with offices in St. Catharines and Welland. We are celebrating over 23 years providing professional counselling services to residents living both in and outside the Niagara Region. We look forward to hearing from you. Appointments are usually available within 2 weeks.
